There will be plenty of beer, music and food when Middleton celebrates Oktoberfest next weekend.
And while the town gives a nod to the Munich roots of the popular festival, there will be a distinctly Middleton flavour to the celebrations.
The festivities will centre around a marquee outside The Britannia Inn, in Middleton Gardens, from 12pm on Saturday, to 10pm Sunday.
Britannia landlord Jack Howard shared: “Oktoberfest is bringing two days of live music, beer and food to Middleton, supported by our Middleton Township.
“Marquee sorted, stage and bar sorted, benches and tables done. Drum kit sorted for bands, PA system sorted. Bratwurst sorted. Sorting hot drinks and sweet things. Local bands all sorted. Conkers collected.
“It’s a free event so come on down.
“The draft bar will sell beer made in Midd. Craft uses continental hops, best pint in Manchester. With Manchester stout on, and the Oktoberfest session lager.
“Music, beer and food festival in a massive marquee in the middle of Middleton Gardens. Wall to wall music and entertainment, food and bar.”
